Nikki Bella and Brie Bella - 5 facts you probably didn't know about the Bella twins.

The Bella Twins have been one of WWE’s biggest moneymakers in the Divas Division. They are a product of the Divas Era. While they have garnered criticism from people stating that their success has been attributed to who their partners are, make no mistake about it, The Bella Twins are a huge hit.

From The Total Divas cast, these two have been the biggest hit, to the extent that they have even gotten their own spin-off reality show Total Bellas, which has just recently started. 

Nikki Bella is a two-time and the longest-reigning Divas Champion in history, while Brie herself is a one-time Divas Champion. Since then, Brie Bella has retired from professional wrestling, where she wrestled her last match at Wrestlemania 32. She is now pregnant with her first child with husband Daniel Bryan, who is the Smackdown Live General Manager. Nikki Bella returned this year at Summerslam from a career-threatening injury has been in one of the prime spots on the Smackdown Live women’s roster. 

Bella’s private lives are made quite public due to their reality show Total Divas and Total Bellas. However, let’s take a look at 5 things you may not know about The Bella Twins

When they came to Los Angeles to pursue careers in modeling and acting, they didn't come in with a lot of money, and they needed to make ends meet. As many do, they were paying their dues by waitressing at the Mondrian hotel on Sunset Boulevard. The success they obtained was most certainly not an overnight one!

Although Total Divas get criticism from the wrestling audiences,  it must be noted that it brings in a whole new audience demographic to WWE. How much ever criticism they get, they were, are, and always will be money to the WWE.

#2 Nikki Bella was married once before

That’s right. While it is well known that John Cena got a divorce in 2012, this isn’t a well-known fact. On Total Divas, Nikki Bella mentioned that at the age of 20, she got married to her high school sweetheart.

However, three years into the marriage, the couple realized that the marriage was not for them and ended up getting their marriage annulled.

A lot of focus on the Cena-Nikki relationship is the fact that Cena does not want marriage or kids, for the simple reason that he won’t have the time to commit to the two heavy responsibilities. There was even a storyline on Total Divas where Nikki’s ex-boyfriend Dolph Ziggler.

#3 Nikki is only 16 Minutes older twin

Nikki Bella is a full 16 minutes older than Brie.

While it shouldn't make too much of a difference, It would be interesting to know if Nikki would rub in being the elder one as kids! On Total Divas and Total Bellas, Brie always appears to be the more mature of the twins.

Brie and Bryan always comes off as the simpler couple who require lesser, while Nikki and her boyfriend John Cena enjoy the finer things in life. That isn't to berate the latter, but it just shows that 16 minutes doesn't really mean anything! 

#4 They’re Half Mexican-Half Italian

The Bella Twins have incredible physical features. They have long, brown hair, good facial structures and what many would call "exotic looks", which can be credited to their bloodline.
The Bella Twins' real names are Brianna Garcia-Colace(Brie) and Stephanie Nicole Garcia-Colace(Nikki). Their mother, Kathy Colace, is currently engaged to John Laurinaitis, a senior producer in WWE and also formerly the head of talent relations. Remember People Power?

#5 They have pursued acting and modeling as their primary careers in Los Angeles

The Bella Twins didn’t even consider wrestling initially – they moved from their hometown of Arizona to Los Angeles to pursue acting and modeling. They went on multiple auditions, and after an appearance, NBC’s Meet My Folks, they attended a WWE Diva casting.

The WWE saw their potential and offered them jobs – but the Twins didn’t want to relocate to Florida where FCW(Florida Championship Wrestling) was. However, a few years later, their mother Kathy Colace met with WWE reps and ended up convincing the Twins to give it a shot.
