What is the Difference between Raw & Smackdown?

Raw and Smackdown are the main two different shows in WWE. Both shows in WWE are very Important & Popular categories, which we can say the core of WWE When it comes to main differences between the Raw and Smackdown these are the top one which might bring your confusion out of the brain.

·         Ropes of the ring. The Ropes on Raw are Red In color whereas,  When it comes to Smackdown the ropes will be always blue.

·         Different Superstars

     The most famous Superstars Like Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins, Brock Lesnar, and Sasha Banks can only be seen in Raw where other WWE Superstars like John Cena, Randy Orton, Dean Ambrose are exclusive Superstars of the Smackdown. This can be the idea of the Brand Extension in WWE.

Difference between Raw & Smackdown

·         The people in charge. Raw is run by Commissioner Stephanie McMahon and General Manager Mick Foley whereas Smackdown’s Commissioner is Shane McMahon with Daniel Bryan performing the role of the general manager.

·         Different Championships. The Intercontinental Championship and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship is on the Smackdown brand due to the current titleholders, Dean Ambrose and The Miz respectively, being drafted to the show. Raw has the WWE Women’s Championship, the WWE Universal Championship, the WWE Tag Team championships and the United States championship.

·         Length of the shows. Raw is show for 3 hours where the Smackdown is 2 hours Long.

·         Different announce teams. The commentary team on Raw consists the Michael Cole, Byron Saxton and Corey Graves, Where their in Smackdown Mauro Ranallo, David Otunga and JBL handles the commentary.

Difference between Raw Smackdown

·         They air on different days. This is obvious, Raw runs on Monday while Smackdown runs on Tuesday.

These are just a few of the main differences between Raw and Smackdown. They are not the only differences, as you will see when you closely analyze the two shows but they're just a few off the top of my head :)
